SOLTICE, FATHER EDUARDO ON MAUI

Father Eduardo, one of the most remarkable people the blogger has ever met left the cruise ship in Honolulu and traveled with us to our home in Maui, where he is an amazing house guests. He does the dishes, cleans crumbs from our toaster every day, T he 84 year old is hard to keep up with. Below he visits the Wo Hing temple on Front Street built by early Chinese immigrants who worked for the sugar mill and makes a salad. He also atteneded a Saturday night get together at our condo. More later after he says mass in our home this morning. On the second leg of its tour up to Alaska, the Soltice visited Maui and we met the ship to find embarking new friends. At sunset, we took father to Fleetwoods on Front St. where we could see the ship–our home for 18 days–befopre it departed. VOICES OF MAUI TALK STORY, LLC.
