At Kamehameha III school in historic Lahaina, 800 students celebrated the 100th anniversary of the elementary school by performing hula and traditional dances in a jammed packed gymnasium. The King–longest reigning and perhaps the most progressive monarch–was portrayed by student who danced with members of his court. The spectacular show in which each large class stepped up to perform did the school and community proud. VOICES OF MAUI TALK STORY, LLC PHOTOS
