We depart from the usual fare here  to express outrage at the cold-blooded murder in Missouri of an African-American with his hands up. WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE NOT GET IT?

Why would police in their right mind show up in black swat team garb looking like they are at war in Iraq?

Why would Morning Joe this morning lead with news of  13 inches of rain in Long Island. So self-centred.  So Provincial. They fail to report first on the most important news today in the country.

Why would police aim a high-powered weapon from the top of a military like vehicle at a crowd?

Wjy would they have such threatening vehicles at all that provoke people?

Why would police tear gas and arrest reporters?

Why would the police chief treat his department actions as business as usual to “protect the people?”

Why did  the Governor not ccall in the National Guard?

Some people say this is no different that the tactics of police in Chicago in 1968. No way. While police there engaged despicable at least that looked like policemen uniform instead of like Al Qaeda like terrorists?

Why is the Republican agenda in Washington to do nothing?

Why is the Affordable Health Care Act still attached even though nine million people have signed up for it and seem pretty happy with it?

Why does a U.S. Senator disrespect our President?

Why do media call him Obama when they should call him the President in news stories, at least part of the time?

Why do we have a gun culture that is worse than the Wild West of yesteryear?

Why are DC politicians so afraid of the NRA that they ignore logic and do not vote for better gun control?

Why do states pass stand alone laws that encourage violence?

Why do so many states erode democracy by passing laws that discourage voting particularly among black Americans and hispanics?

Why did Congress take no action after T Martin’s murder?

Why did police in Missouri not interview a black man who was next to the murdered victim when he as the closest witness.

Why does TV continue to show Limbaugh ranks when they are disrespectful and wholly inaccurate and poison people’s minds?

WHY WHY WHY. People just do not get it
