What you may not know is this originated through the Cub practice after a game over many years of putting a flag up for all to see passing the ballpark with a W or an L. W flags waved after a win are seen in the stands. W’s are now posted all over town this year on store windows, even on police bicycles. You haven’t heard this on Fox nor in the newspapers so thanks to this blogs you know something most people don/t
