WHY DID SO MANY MEN ON MAUI WALK A MILE AND GET BLISTERS JUST FOR WEARING SHOES SATURDAY?

Because they are not used to walking around in high heels.
To support women who are victims of domestic violence and take a pledge to do all they can to prevent it, 200 men wearing 400 high heel shoes paraded a mile around Lahaina’s outlet mall in  for Women Helping Women, the non-profit that helps abused women. Here is what we looked like.

Ka’anapali, Lahaina, Hawaii Dec. 31–When traveling to Maui, you think of majestic beaches, the deep blue ocean, azure skies, lush rain forests, and flowering plumeria. What you don’t often think of are the beautiful people, beautiful in appearance and beautiful in spirit. Meet them below in the annual Joys of Kaanapali wahine recap (with some guys too). See the well coiffed, the colorfully dressed, the well endowed, the indifferently endowed, the multi-tattooed, the locally well-known and not so well-known, the residences and visitors to the greatest place on earth.
