WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO SEE AT A BAR BESIDES A WOMAN AND A DRINK:
HONUA KAI, Dec. 18– Fingertips, sometimes red, sometimes turquoise or without paint tapping a cell phone at 90 words a minute. The blogger who can produce sophisticated You Tube videos and do almost anything on an Apple Mac has never mastered the delicate art of posting on an I-phone. Keys to small and fingernails too short. Backspacing is used frequently. ABOUT THE PHOTO: The new Samsung phone has a mind of its own. It sometimes takes photos without the holder knowing. This post was written some time ago but there was no illustration. So thank you Samsung for providing this provocative photo. Couldn’t have planned it better. WHO CAME TO MAUI RECENTLY AND WORE THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS SHIRTS?
Dec. 8–Getting into the spirit of aloha and demonstrating it for three days wherever they showed up, these three radio announcers wore the snazziest aloha shirts every day for three days at the Maui Invitational Basketball Tournament. No report on whether they sent them to the laundromat after the first and second days. Voices of Maui Talk Story LLC photo (delayed because the blogger was too busy to post).
HAPPY FIFTH BIRTHDAY DUKES BEACH HOUSE ON MAUI: HOLIDAY BLOGATHON 3
HONUA KAI, Dec. 6. On Maui we know how to have fun. Friday it was a Duke’s fifth annual birthday celebration with guests making a contribution to a local school in exchange for two free beers and pupus. The popular place, a wonderful spot to see whales in the ocean behind an expansive lawn of native plants, recently expanded with a new bar area in back. Kapono who usually performs once a month provided the entertainment for those inside and others on the Honua Kai lawn. The blogger sometimes enjoys coconut bisque lobster soup there but gets a bill like everyone else. No monies exchanged for this post that reaches 1700 followers across the nation. Watch for coverage of Santa’s arrival at Hula Grill, another TS restaurant, later this month. Voices of Maui Talk Story, LLC photos.

And the blogger gave up table to these lasses to roam around to take photos. On my return, a guest decided to put me in the photo. My lovely wife who was not thee picked me up afterwards and we had a nice evening. TOMORROW: Voices of Maui full coverage (we take the photos most pthographers miss).
