EXCLUSIVE: 31 PHOTOS:THE HISTOIC SUGAR CANE TRAIN AND ITS PEOPLE COMMEMORATE ITS LAST DAY
AUG. 1–Most photographers thought the last day of the historic sugar cane train on tracks that once hauled sugar cane from fields to mill was about the train. This photographer/blogger thought it was about the people..the little kieki on there first and last ride, the grandparents bring their grand klds and the old timers young at heart who used to ride the train in younger days. In we salute the crew, the passengers. and the train conceived and built by the late Mac McKelvey. Norm Bezane VOICES OF MAUI TALK STORY PHOTOS. NOSTALGIA PHOTOS TO COME FROM THE FILES.

Here’s what a lucky bachelor party guy did along Kaanapali Beach, Maui, Hawaii
He managed to go through a good part of his list marked on his striped shirt, challenges to the women at this popular venue. Thanks to the blogger who got the thing rolling. Creative idea well worth seeing in action. And of course a grand departure and salute to the cheering crowd as they left for other venues to complete the list. VOICES OF MAUI TALK STORY, LLC, publisher of “Voices of Maui: Natives and Newcomers, “Maui for Millions”and “Voices of Aloha” posts daily fun photos here to celebrate his love of Kaanapali.
